The Unit Upgrades system turns starter and capital units into stronger veterans. The Post-Human Coalition Commander can be upgraded with more health, heavier weapons, and an offensive drone bay module, while the Hyperion dreadnaught can upgrade both health and weapon damage. Losing an upgraded unit in battle permanently loses everything invested in it.
Units can mount multiple weapons with independent targeting and firing solutions, including tank primary guns facing forward, secondary guns facing backward, and turrets mounted on top of turrets. Every turret has a rotation rate and pitch and yaw limits, so tanks on high cliffs may need to crest the ridge before their guns can depress onto targets below.
A recruited unit is often a small squad rather than a single vehicle or soldier. The individual soldiers or vehicles inside that squad are called Elements, which take hits and fire weapons while following orders passed down from the parent Army to the Unit.
Hatchling, Overmind, and Reaper publish a role, a recruitment building, and a battlefield note. Their cards do not publish health or damage, so those cells stay marked not published.
The faction has a doctrine and the campaign viewpoint. Individual United Earth Forces unit names are not in the captured text posts, so that column stays empty instead of borrowing Post-Human or Substrate cards.
Choose PHC to keep Commander, Hyperion, and Nemesis. Hyperion lists 7000 health and is recruited from Sky Factory. Choose Substrate to keep Hatchling, Overmind, and Reaper. Reset brings all six cards back. Army facing and front-rank placement are on the Armies page.
